Friedli Gallery is an inclusive gallery and community space in Saint Paul, Minnesota. By an Artist, for Artists and our Community. We strive to support Artists and their Work through art sales, promotion, events, classes and more. Friedli Gallery is focused on Artist Exhibitions on the main floor, and has an auxiliary gift shop. If you are interested in being in our go-to gallery artist list or selling work through our shop, please submit an application at the link below. How is this Gallery Different?
As an artist myself, I understand the gallery scene. It’s critical to work with a gallery you trust, have mutual respect, and cares for you.
Here is my promise to you-We will treat your art with care
You have the option to have us host the opening reception for all work in your exhibition
You have the option for us to market and promote your work in the gallery, on our website and through various media channels
We will stake no claim to work sold to a collector outside the gallery if they didn’t see it first in our gallery or on our website or media channels
After your exhibition is complete and you no longer have work in the gallery, we stake no claims to sales to collectors established in the gallery as long as that specific work was not first seen in the gallery or on our website or media channels.
Our commission fees for work on exhibit are 50%. Work sold through the in store gallery shop is commissioned at 30%.
Your Promise to Us-
You will provide your original work, ready to hang or display in excellent condition and provide installation assistance if we deem it necessary
You will make every attempt to attend the opening reception during your time in the gallery
You will cross post your art for sale, events, and media marketing materials to your client base
You will alert the gallery to handle sales if a collector would like to purchase work they first saw in the gallery or on our website or media channels
Mutual respect is that simple.
